Our Talent and Culture team is looking to add an individual with experience and passion for all things early/emerging talent, to our team here at Holmes Murphy!  This person will build and nurture College and campus relationships, help develop and coordinate our early and emerging talent programs, and recruit the next generation of Holmes Murphy talent.  If this sounds like you, please check out our open Talent Acquisition Consultant, Talent Development Programs position!

The Role:

  • Partner closely with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant, Talent & Culture Business Partners, and business leaders to define needs for all talent development programs (internship, college graduate and high school) early talent while managing an active pipeline, sourcing and recruiting in all locations.
  • Recruiting & student engagement strategy for all markets.
  • Leading the pre-boarding, onboarding, and summer experience program in coordination with the intern program project team in which this role will be the lead of.
  • Ownership and coordination of recruiting for special events both on-site and off-site (i.e. Open Houses, Campus Recruiting, etc.)
  • Lead out campus relations and recruiting strategy for all early talent needs (Interns and entry-level opportunities.) Maintain relationships with colleges and other organizations.
  • Travel to Universities and Community Partners each Fall/Spring to promote open Talent Development opportunities (Intern/Brainery)
  • Responsible for the execution of full life-cycle campus recruiting as well as the development of meaningful business relationships with key faculty in the promotion of Holms Murphy to their students.
  • Partnering effectively with Talent & Culture, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Business Leaders to gain a detailed understanding of organizational goals and needs.
  • Recommend and assist with implementing best-in-class recruiting processes to leverage throughout the organization. 
  • Ensure full utilization of technology in our recruiting and onboarding efforts; work with leader to recommend and implement solutions.
  • Partner with Corporate Marketing to build and maintain our employment brand and appropriate recruiting materials.

The Person:

  • Demonstrated competence in and/or experience with Human Resource management, campus recruiting and internship/onboarding programs, practices and strategies.
  • Strong consultative and collaboration skills, emphasizing leadership, diversity and productive relationships throughout the organization.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Managing stress in a position that may require non-standard business hours and attending to multiple challenging issues and tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to self-direct and work cross functionally with others at all levels of an organization with team members, senior leaders, and vendors.
  • Ability to manage and maintain a variety of confidential information.
  • Ability and willingness to travel – Most travel will occur during Fall and Spring
  • Must demonstrate a proactive and motivated mindset.
  • Must have excellent computer skills with HRIS systems and a high proficiency in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system such as Handshake & LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Knowledge of human resource compliance issues such as ADA, FMLA, Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, EEOC Guidelines, and all other applicable federal, state and local guidelines.
  • Must be knowledgeable of and comply with HMA’s Client Privacy Policy, HIPAA regulations and E&O procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma; college degree in Human Resources or Business-related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in the recruiting field required. Experience with campus recruitment, early talent recruitment, and/or talent engagement preferred.
