Holmes Murphy Adds to Leadership

Holmes Murphy has announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Managers as well as three new members to its Executive Committee. Each of these leaders brings years of experience and commitment to the company.

“This announcement comes as we start what is expected to be another great year at Holmes Murphy,” said Dan Keough, Holmes Murphy Chairman and CEO. “Our strong leadership team will continue to guide the work of our employees, creating the collaborative effort we value.”

The new members of the Board of Managers are:

  • Brad Bierman, Senior Vice President, Employee Benefits

“I am honored to join a group of like-minded leaders driven by operating excellence and a fierce belief in the power of independence and employee ownership,” said Bierman, who has been with Holmes Murphy since 2002.

  • Kari Cooling, Senior Vice President, Market Leader, Property Casualty

“I am honored to serve on the Board of Managers,” said Cooling, who started with the company as an intern in 2001. “Holmes Murphy is such a special place to me and our employees. We are uniquely positioned to help our customers and employees reach their potential. “

  • Jay Reavis, Senior Vice President, Market Leader, Property Casualty

“I could not be more excited about the future of Holmes Murphy and feel blessed to be able to be part of the leadership team,” said Reavis, who joined the team in 2002 as an intern.

The new members of the Executive Committee are:

  • Wally Gomaa, CEO of ACAP HealthWorks

Gomaa has been with the Holmes Murphy team since 2003. “It is an honor and privilege to serve alongside this amazing team of leaders, and I am excited about supporting the continued success of Holmes Murphy,” Gomaa said.

  • Charisse McCumber, Senior Vice President, Employee Benefits

“I am humbled to be selected as the first member of the next generation of leadership on the Executive Committee,” said McCumber, who started her career at the company. “I am grateful for the support and mentoring of my colleagues and the leadership at Holmes Murphy.”

  • Tom Stewart, President of Innovative Captive Strategies

Stewart first joined the Holmes Murphy team in 2003. “I feel humbled and honored to be a part of this very talented group of individuals,” he said. “I’m excited about where Holmes Murphy is going and look forward to serving in this leadership position.”

Holmes Murphy has a presence in 15 different offices in 11 states. Two of its largest locations are in Waukee, IA (headquarters), and Dallas, TX.
