Holmes Murphy Adds to Board of Directors

Holmes Murphy & Associates is announcing the addition of two new members to our board of directors. Tom Stewart, President of Innovative Captive Strategies (a Holmes Murphy subsidiary) and Charisse McCumber, Senior Vice President, join the leadership team, bringing with them years of experience and commitment to the company.

“Tom and Charisse have each made tremendous contributions to the growth of Holmes Murphy, and I’m excited to see how they transform in their new roles,” said Dan Keough, Holmes Murphy Chairman and CEO. “Each of them, along with the rest of our strong leadership team, will continue to guide the work of our employees, creating the collaborative effort we value.”

Stewart oversees a very integral subsidiary for Holmes Murphy. In his role as President of Innovative Captive Strategies, Stewart manages profitability and recruitment, develops internal structure and organization, secures new agency partners, and maintains the overall strength of ICS staff and services.

“I feel humbled and honored to be a part of this very talented group of individuals,” said Stewart. “I’m excited about where Holmes Murphy is going and look forward to serving in this leadership position.”

McCumber currently serves as a Senior Vice President and Chief Consultant for Holmes Murphy Employee Benefits leading the strategy and expertise for clients in all offices. She also serves as the Executive Advisor for Holmes Murphy’s subsidiary company, ACAP Health, and is the lead strategist for several key customers.

“I am both honored and excited about the opportunity to serve on the Board of Holmes Murphy,” said McCumber. “I look forward to representing the interest of our employees — especially the next generation — on the Board.”

Holmes Murphy & Associates has a presence in 10 other markets across the nation, in addition to its locations in Des Moines (headquarters) and Dallas.
