• Cal Beyer Authors Article About Improving Access to Wellbeing Services for Construction Workers

It is well known that construction has the second highest rate of suicide among major industries, and research shows that males are less likely to seek medical and mental health care services than females. This is a significant factor in an industry like construction that is considered “male dominated” in terms of the percentage of males in the workforce. So, what can be done to reduce risk? Our own Cal Beyer, CSDZ VP of Workforce Risk and Worker Wellbeing, has some ideas in an article in Construction Executive titled “Improving Access to Health Care and Wellness Services for Construction Trade and Craft Workers.”
