Josh Jacobsen, Loss Control Consultant, Construction, will be speaking on Influencing Risk Through an Organizational Improvement Approach at the Hawkeye Safety Conference. This session will explore how risky decisions are utilized in the workplace and what influences those decisions. Attendees will be able to relate to the power of perception and consequence as it reinforces the culture and drives people’s actions. Lastly, attendees will be able to define strategies that influence the culture through the use of near miss reporting, value added safety programs, and developing a climate of continuously improving the operations of the organization.
