“Supporting these students through our diversity scholarship program reflects our commitment to helping future leaders discover their potential within the insurance industry,” said Dr. Lori Hart, Holmes Murphy Fraternal Practice Director of Educational Initiatives. “When we champion diverse perspectives and lived experiences, we strengthen our industry and create a more inclusive environment where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.”

To be considered for the scholarship, students must be a member of a Holmes Murphy Fraternal Practice client organization; in good standing with their organization; currently enrolled as an undergraduate full-time student; and pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, Insurance and Risk Management, or interested in the insurance industry. Students submitted a resume, transcript, and answered an essay question as part of the application process.

“I’m so grateful to have been awarded the 2026 Holmes Murphy Diversity Scholarship,” said Micaela Creo with Kappa Beta Gamma of Wake Forest University. “As I conclude my undergraduate education, this scholarship symbolizes the resilience and growth I’ve achieved in these life-changing four years.”

“The 2026 Holmes Murphy Diversity Scholarship means so much to me because it affirms that Holmes Murphy truly values and invests in the growth of inspirational, high-achieving collegiate leaders,” said Cameron Morgan with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. of The University of Alabama. “Being selected reminds me that the future is bright when organizations are willing to believe in students like me. This scholarship directly supports my journey as I continue my education in an accelerated MBA program while completing my bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. It allows me to focus on developing the skills needed to inspire and lead through innovation, technology, and leadership development, and to ultimately make a meaningful impact in my community and beyond.”

“This scholarship allows me to continue investing in my education while staying deeply involved in leadership and service on my campus,” said Angie Moreno Sosa with Delta Sigma Pi of the University at Albany. “It’s a reminder that my hard work is seen and that there are organizations willing to support students who are committed to making a difference.”

“Since launching this scholarship program in 2022, our goal has been to expand awareness of the meaningful and diverse career paths within the insurance industry,” said Hart. “It’s a privilege to support these students on their educational journeys, and we’re honored to help provide resources that move them closer to achieving their academic and professional goals.”
