Besong to develop and execute benefits strategies in Cedar Rapids market

Brandon Besong has joined Holmes Murphy as a Client Executive, Employee Benefits in the company’s Cedar Rapids office.

In this role, Besong will partner with employers to develop and execute benefits strategies that improve workforce health, manage healthcare costs, and enhance the employee experience. Besong will also provide strategic insights to organizations on medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit programs, as well as market and financial analysis.

Prior to joining Holmes Murphy, Besong spent 10 years at TrueNorth Companies, most recently serving as a Benefits Advisor.

Besong is a native of Cedar Rapids, where he currently is raising his young family. Outside of work, Besong enjoys traveling and coaching club soccer at FC United, which gives him the opportunity to give back to the community’s youth.
