Avant Specialty Benefits today announced Ted Holt as Director of Stop Loss Services, a new practice that will provide comprehensive RFP, implementation, claim management, and renewal services to Avant’s broker partners and their employer clients by combining market leading expertise, proprietary technology solutions, and innovative claim analytics capabilities.
As with all practices, Avant’s approach not only provides a leading-edge procurement solution that saves time and money, but also delivers comprehensive, impactful employee communication. This newest venture led by Holt is yet another way Avant will assist employers in unlocking maximum program potential.
With this new role, Holt will be responsible for building and developing best-in-class medical stop loss procurement, including overseeing the management of carrier relationships, implementation services, administration capabilities, and more.

Holt joins Avant with more than 15 years of experience, most recently at Voya Financial where he served as a Senior Sales Representative. He currently lives in the Dallas Fort-Worth area with his wife, Morgan, and three children.
