What makes Holmes Murphy special isn’t just our independence. It’s what our people do with it.
Every day, our employees can think boldly, care deeply, and make a difference for the people around them. Our annual Game Changer award celebrates those who take that opportunity to heart, going beyond what’s expected and bringing our unique potential to life through the way they serve clients, support colleagues, and change the game at Holmes Murphy.
This year’s Game Changers are powerful examples of what can happen when talented people are empowered to lead and innovate. This is just a glimpse into their stories, and I couldn’t be prouder to have them on our team.

Bryce Craig
For our Builders Risk Practice Leader Bryce Craig, influence is built on trust. Whether he’s navigating a complex builders’ risk placement, finding creative solutions under tight deadlines, or sharing his expertise with colleagues, Bryce consistently goes above and beyond for those around him. His integrity, strong relationships, and commitment to doing what’s right have made him a trusted partner to clients, carriers, and teammates alike.

Kiersten Lampton
Kiersten Lampton is a catalyst for her team, stepping up wherever she’s needed and helping others succeed along the way as a Placement Specialist and Team Lead for Property Casualty. From playing an instrumental role in the Holmes Base rollout to taking on complex accounts, supporting critical new business wins, and mentoring and training teammates, Kiersten consistently puts the needs of others first. Her willingness to jump in, share her expertise, and embrace challenges with a positive attitude makes her an invaluable teammate and leader. She doesn’t just navigate change. She helps others move forward with confidence.

Lance Lankford
As the Compliance Director for our Employee Benefits team and the Collegiate Athletics Risk Strategies Director for Avant Specialty Benefits, Lance Lankford embodies the spirit of saying “yes” to new opportunities. Across his many roles, he continues to expand his expertise and bring it to client and prospect relationships throughout the organization. Just as importantly, Lance invests in others, serving as a people leader and helping colleagues develop specialized knowledge of their own. His willingness to learn, lead, and take a leap of faith into a new area makes Lance a true Game Changer.

Jess Nickell
Event Management AVP Jess Nickell elevates every experience she touches. Through her leadership, creativity, and attention to detail, she has helped transform event management into a strategic enterprise capability that brings people together and strengthens our culture. That impact was especially evident during this year’s All-Employee Meeting, where her behind-the-scenes leadership helped create a seamless, memorable experience for employees. Jess leads with care, consistently putting others in a position to shine while creating meaningful experiences that leave a lasting impression.
