Workers’ Compensation Alphabet Soup Webinar – How do the FMLA and ADA Affect WC Claim Management?

    Event Schedule

    Wednesday, June 22
    10-11 a.m. CT

In April 2016, the Wage & Hour Division of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) released The Employer’s Guide to The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and in May 2016, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) released a 12-page guide to encourage voluntary compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Holmes Murphy & Associates invites you to participate in a one hour webinar to discuss this topic and portions of these guides to consider as part of your comprehensive workers’ compensation claim management program.

The webinar will cover areas, such as:

    • Can the FMLA and/or ADA be involved if there is an employee injury?
    • What factors come into play in deciding which is which?
    • Do I have to report a workers’ compensation claim if the FMLA or ADA is involved?
    • Should I tell my workers’ compensation adjuster if the involved employee has engaged the FMLA or ADA?
