This role will support the talent acquisition strategy and recruiting efforts for assigned positions and line of business, in alignment with the organization’s overall talent needs.
- Partner closely with the Talent & Culture Business Partners and business leaders to define talent needs for all level roles, as part of the broader workforce plan, managing an active pipeline, sourcing, and recruiting in all locations.
- Recruiting responsibilities:
- Identify appropriate recruiting strategy for assigned roles.
- Review resumes.
- Schedule and conduct video, telephone, and in-person interviews for pre-screens and with leaders.
- Consult with Talent & Culture Business Partners and hiring managers regarding interview recommendations and hiring decisions.
- Keep candidates informed of status.
- Create offer letter documents and extend/negotiate offers.
- Monitor background check process.
- Ensure best-in-class experience for leaders and candidates.
- Onboarding responsibilities:
- Send new hire notifications.
- Recommend and assist with implementing best-in-class recruiting processes to leverage throughout the organization.
- Ensure full utilization of technology in our recruiting and onboarding efforts; work with Business Partners to recommend and implement solutions.
- Partner with Corporate Marketing to build and maintain our employment brand and appropriate recruiting materials.
- Create and manage campus relations and recruiting strategy for internship, Brainery and entry-level opportunities. Help maintain relationships with colleges and other organizations.
- Identify appropriate recruiting opportunities, organize annual recruiting schedule, and coordinate resources for events.
- Travel to Universities and Community Partners each Fall/Spring to promote open Talent Development opportunities (Intern/Brainery)
- Partner with leaders to coordinate site-specific recruiting opportunities.
- Serves as external contact for all staffing vendors for recruiting and billing (ie. LinkedIn).

- Demonstrated competence in and/or experience with Human Resource management, recruiting and onboarding programs, practices and strategies.

- Managing stress in a position that may require non-standard business hours and attending to multiple challenging issues and tasks simultaneously.

- Must have excellent computer skills with HRIS systems and a high proficiency in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Ability and willingness to pursue relevant designations and/or continuing education, as appropriate.
- Knowledge of human resource compliance issues such as ADA, FMLA, Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, EEOC Guidelines, and all other applicable federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Must be knowledgeable of and comply with HMA’s Client Privacy Policy, HIPAA regulations and E&O procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma; college degree in Human Resources or Business-related field is preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years’ experience in the human resource/recruiting field preferred.
