Position Overview:

This position will be involved with the support, maintenance and ongoing development of our Human Resource Information System (HRIS) as well as other general systems within the HR department.  Additionally, this position will assist in developing standard and custom reports to enable the analysis of employee related data.


  • Maintains employee information that is accurate, complete and fulfills legal requirements.
  • Documents and processes employee-related changes, including hires, terms/separations, salary actions, benefit transactions or regular payroll.  Ensures HRIS or related systems are updated appropriately.
  • Develops workflows in HRIS to improve efficiencies of users.
  • Maintains, organizes and determines appropriate set-up/design of information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to support the organization’s data management and reporting needs.
  • Performs uploads of data into the systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HRIS.
  • Creates standard and ad hoc queries or reports as requested.
  • Helps design and provide data summaries or statistical analysis for use in planning and decision making.
  • Participates in compliance and governance related items as it relates to benefits, payroll and required reporting (throughout the year and at year-end).
  • Supports the HR team in other general day-to-days projects, as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data across all HR functional areas, including payroll and benefits.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytic ability, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate business/team data requirements into report requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Outlook


  • 2+ years experience administering human resources systems as a core function of the role
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data across all HR functional areas, including payroll and benefits.
