Here’s just a bit of what you’d do:

  • Own the complete video production process including concepting, writing scripts, filming, editing, sound design, color grading, and motion graphics.
  • Work independently and as part of a creative team on projects of all shapes and sizes.
  • Come to the table with ideas to support the team’s marketing plans.
  • Assist in developing interview questions and storyboards.
  • Conduct interview-style videos, at times acting as the interviewer.
  • Work directly with interview subjects ranging from senior leadership to clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to creatively translate abstract concepts into effective visuals.
  • Use and maintain company’s video and audio equipment.
  • Support communication opportunities in a manner consistent with the company’s brand strategy.

You’d also need to be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the job, including, but not limited to, having:

  • Demonstrated history and proven success in filmmaking ability.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Audition, and SpeedGrade. Knowledge of additional Adobe Creative Suite software a plus.
  • Expert knowledge of audio equipment and recording.
  • Podcasting experience a plus.
  • Strong people skills with an ability to give direction and work as part of a team.
  • An outcome-oriented personality with a high level of commitment to seeing the job from start to finish.
  • Ability to bring new ideas and fresh perspective to the table, while also being able to absorb and execute feedback to meet outcomes and objectives.
  • Ability to be organized and efficient, paying close attention to details while handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and keep projects moving forward within guidelines.

And, let’s not forget the qualifications for the job:

  • 3+ years professional video production experience.
  • A high school diploma is required, and a technical or college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours to meet business objectives when needed for events or travel.
  • Up to 30% travel required.
