Safety & Risk Specialist, CSDZ

If this sounds like an awesome opportunity, we need you to join our CSDZ team as a Risk & Safety Specialist at our office in Dallas, TX.

Duties:

  • Provide all aspects of Risk & Safety services to construction clients, including analysis of client’s risk management program, risk assessment, and development of solutions for improving or mitigating loss experience
  • Leverage skill set and industry knowledge to design and implement safety and risk management programs
  • Stay abreast of changes in the safety and risk management industry to advise clients on new or evolving risks
  • Manage and build client relationships to ensure high level of satisfaction, in conjunction with Client Executive and client service team
  • Respond to crisis management situations for clients and assist in managing incident/event
  • Review, assess, and make recommendations for improvements to the client’s risk management processes and procedures including all aspects of safety, fleet/DOT, Risk Management and other regulatory compliance as needed
  • Provide catastrophic investigation/analysis/coordination of accidents/incidents
  • Assist in the strategic development and implementation of CSDZ risk management tools and risk related services
  • Actively involved in Industry trade associations, including membership committees and speaking engagements at conferences and events
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong technical and insurance risk management knowledge
  • Knowledge of Fleet and DOT operations
  • Strong client service skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of high-level construction Safety & Risk experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Safety Management or related discipline or the equivalent of education and experience
  • OSHA and MSHA certification preferred
  • CSP or similar designation preferred
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other technology platforms as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and access to automobile
