Holmes Murphy & Associates Assists In Creation of Unique Insurance Program
DAVENPORT — April 21, 2011 — Holmes Murphy & Associates was featured in a recent article in the Quad-City Times highlighting a partnership with Scott County Jail to create an innovative insurance program for inmates that has saved over $74,000 in jail costs. The unique program provides temporary health insurance cards to inmates who require health care outside of the jail premises. Before the program was installed, the county was paying 90 to 100 percent of the medical costs for inmates who needed medical attention outside of the jail grounds.
