Holmes Murphy to Aid In Analysis of Peoria’s Health Care System
PEORIA, ILLINOIS — April 28, 2011 — Peoria’s City Council decided by unanimous vote last week to hire Holmes Murphy & Associates of Davenport, Iowa, to provide the city with an analysis of and identify improvements for the city’s health care system. City Manager Patrick Urich said the health care program is a “significant budget concern.” Peoria’s health care system represents approximately 10 percent of the city’s annual $163 million budget.
