Holmes Murphy’s Swift Addresses Health Care Reform Impact
DES MOINES, Iowa, March 26, 2010 – Holmes Murphy Chairman and CEO Jim Swift offered perspective on health care reform legislation as part of a panel discussion on Iowa Public Television’s The Iowa Journal March 25.
The panel discussion included organizations and individuals affected by the new plan and followed coverage of President Barak Obama’s speech on health care reform earlier in the day in Iowa City. Jennifer Vermeer, director of Iowa Medicaid, and Kirk Norris, president of the Iowa Hospital Association, joined Swift on the panel.

Swift also was a featured panelist at the Des Moines Business Record’s Power Breakfast Series focusing on “Implications of Health care Reform” March 23 in Des Moines. The event examined the impact of health care reform on premiums, small businesses, and trends to combat rising health coverage costs.
