Holmes Murphy Leads the Way at 2010 JDRF Walk
DES MOINES, Iowa, April 29, 2010 — Holmes Murphy President and CEO Jim Swift served as chair of the 2010 Central Iowa Walk to Cure Diabetes, held Saturday, April 10. This year’s walk placed in the Top 5 most successful events in the country, bringing over 9,000 walkers to the Downtown Des Moines skywalk and raising $1.5 million to find a cure for juvenile diabetes.
In addition to meeting their corporate donation goal, Holmes Murphy was able to support the millions of Americans faced with type 1 diabetes by walking to make a difference. As corporate sponsor of Des Moines’ JDRF walk, Holmes Murphy led the way to find a cure for type 1 diabetes with the support of 150 walkers on Holmes Murphy’s team.
