Holmes Murphy's Bishop featured in Dallas Morning News
Den Bishop, president of Holmes Murphy Texas, was included in a June 29 article regarding the nation’s obesity problem and its effect on healthcare costs.
The Dallas Morning News article, “Texas has 13th highest rate of obesity in U.S., study says,” details the changes in obesity levels since legislation passed to make kids healthier, and how organizations are improving their wellness programs. In the article, Bishop advises companies to focus on the link between a variety of health indicators and certain diseases. Indicators include cholesterol, waist circumference and others. “There are some obese individuals whose bodies are working just fine,” Bishop said.
