Holmes Murphy® & Associates Announces New Leadership Strategy

DES MOINES, Iowa, July 23, 2010 — Jim Swift, chairman and CEO of Holmes Murphy & Associates, has announced several organizational changes as part of the company’s planned leadership perpetuation strategy.
Swift will oversee growth plans along with client acquisition and retention for HMA Inc., holding company for Holmes Murphy & Associates. Swift will manage all operations for Holmes Murphy including information technology, human resources and accounting.
Dan Keough and Dennis Bishop will now oversee all Holmes Murphy regional divisions. Keough and Bishop will execute these new roles in addition to their current leadership responsibilities. Jason Hellickson will have responsibilities as the company’s Chief Operating Officer.
Keough, president northern division, will direct the following: Des Moines, Iowa — Property Casualty and Employee Benefits; Cedar Rapids and Davenport, Iowa; Madison, Wis.; Omaha, Neb.; Peoria, Ill.; and Sioux Falls, S.D. He will continue to oversee Holmes Murphy’s corporate marketing function and affiliated companies, Innovative Captive Strategies and Creative Risk Solutions. Bishop, president southern division, will oversee offices in Dallas, Texas; Kansas City, Kan.; Denver, Colo.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Scottsdale, Ariz.; and St. Louis, Mo.
Hellickson will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer along with his National Practice Leader responsibility. In Jason’s new position he will be responsible for producer development, sales and service models along with bridging new business opportunities.
