Holmes Murphy® & Associates Announces Chris Boyd as New Board Member
DES MOINES, Iowa, Jan. 5, 2010 — Holmes Murphy & Associates, one of the nation’s largest independent insurance brokers, has named Senior Vice President and shareholder Chris Boyd as a board member. Boyd, who has over 17 years of industry experience, specializes in employee benefits for Holmes Murphy Texas.
Boyd is a frequent participant on national healthcare advisory boards and employer roundtables. He is a member of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Leadership, and serves on the Dallas County Workforce Development Board and the steering committee for Safer Dallas/Better Dallas. He has spearheaded Holmes Murphy’s commitment to several Habitat for Humanity projects and is a graduate of Texas A&M, holding a bachelor’s degree in Health Administration.
