Holmes Murphy Ranked Among Largest Privately Owned Brokers
Holmes Murphy & Associates is ranked the ninth largest among privately owned brokers in the United States based on brokerage revenues, according to the Fall 2009 supplement of Business Insurance magazine. The ranking included brokerage firms not owned by banks or private equity firms and was based on the fiscal year ending April 30.
Earlier this year the publication also named Holmes Murphy the 24th largest among all risk management and insurance brokerage firms in the United States, up from being the 28th largest broker in 2008. The ranking of the largest 100 insurance brokers was listed in the July 20 issue of Business Insurance.
