As Chairman of Holmes Murphy, James Swift’s corporate responsibilities include the five-year plan, strategic acquisitions, employee communications, and regional offices. His operational responsibilities include developing division and department revenue objectives and expanding the diversified business platform.
Daniel T. Keough, Chief Executive Officer

As a leading expert in the captive insurance business, Daniel T. Keough and his team coordinate the management of captives, claims, and loss control programs. He uses his expertise to turn a necessary business cost into unexpected sources of revenue for his clients.
Dennis Bishop, President

Dennis Bishop is responsible for the Dallas office’s corporate benefits strategic direction and operations. He also serves as CEO of ACAP Health, a healthcare consulting firm aligning major healthcare stakeholders with measurable solutions that raise the value and ultimately lower the cost of healthcare benefits.
Craig E. Hansen, Senior Vice President and Corporate Treasurer

With his wealth of experience in surety bonds, Craig Hansen has become a highly honored and respected member of the industry. As such, he was elected president of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP) in 2004.
John A. Hurley II, Senior Vice President

With Holmes Murphy since 1990, John Hurley leads the company’s Major Client Service Team. Holding CPCU and ARM designations, he acts as the “point person” for clients, overseeing all strategies, services, products and dedicated Holmes Murphy team members.
Clifford (Kip) Augspurger, Senior Vice President
With Holmes Murphy since 1991, Kip Augspurger is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). He is the lead architect of the Holmes Murphy service system, providing effective resources to help all Holmes Murphy customers manage their risk of loss.
Chris Boyd, Senior Vice President
A Holmes Murphy associate since 1996, Chris Boyd works out of the Dallas office. His office consults dozens of companies in Texas and surrounding states, providing custom integrated solutions for employee benefits, property and casualty and wealth accumulation.
Steve Flood, Senior Vice President
An associate for more than 20 years, Steve Flood is the leader of Holmes Murphy’s Corporate Benefit Practice. Among his responsibilities, he provides employee benefits consulting and brokerage services for clients throughout the Midwest.
Laure Guisinger, Senior Vice President
With 24 years of insurance experience, Laure Guisinger manages Holmes Murphy’s oldest and largest division, Des Moines Property Casualty. She holds Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.
Jason Hellickson, Chief Development Officer
A member of the board of directors since 1999, Jason Hellickson is a leader in Holmes Murphy’s National Property and Casualty Practice. He specializes in serving the transportation, hospitality/lodging, manufacturing, service and telecommunications industries.

Specializing in redefining risk management for industry-leading companies, Gerald Johnson directs a dedicated team of insurance professionals who manage state-of-the-art products and services to ensure the success of numerous clients.
Kevin Knutson, Senior Vice President
Kevin Knutson is division leader of the Cedar Rapids office. Leveraging the marketplace to deliver the best value for clients, he specializes in serving the construction, manufacturing, agriculture, and law industries.
Lori Wiederin, Senior Vice President
Lori Wiederin is responsible for the coordination and evaluation of benefit programs, including the review of current coverages and implementing programs that help Holmes Murphy clients recruit and retain employees.
